The holiday season is upon us!  It is both a magical and busy time of year.  As parents, you are probably being asked for a list of gift ideas for your little one.  The grandparents, aunts and uncles want to know what they can surprise them with!  Truth be told, it can feel overwhelming to come up with a list outside of what Santa is already bringing. On top of that, your little one may not be able to tell you what they want quite yet, making it even harder.  Let us help you with some ideas!

Ideas for little thinkers

Promoting hand-eye coordination, matching and learning how to move the gears makes this caterpillar gear toy a win-win.  If they have an older sibling, they can help show the little one how this works.

Is your toddler a little older, or do you love having gifts they can grow into?  Having an erasable toddler tracing board is a fantastic idea.  We also love personalized name boards so they can learn how to write and spell their name!

Having a classic matching game is always a hit.  You could opt for the favorite characters from Disney or help expand their vocabulary and recognition of sea animals.

Fun Fun Fun

A fun sparkly pink dress would be great for at-home play pretend tea parties.  It also be worn for birthday parties or family photos.  Add-on the buttery soft, adjustable Cocobo headband for a picture-perfect outfit!

How about for the boys?  This set comes with outfits to be a policeman, firefighter and doctor.   They will have fun for months (and probably longer) and two other siblings can join in on the fun.

If your toddler already has a playground set, you could ask for contributions to add-on a rock wall or monkey bars.  You could also swap a baby swing out for a saucer swing as they grow. The best part about this is that weather pending they can use these playground upgrades year-round.

Playing pretend

This wooden cleaning set will be a favorite for several years.  It comes with a mop, duster, brush, dustpan and a broom.  This set will help them with hand-eye coordination which is an added bonus.

If you add a toddler friendly washing machine to your list, your little one will have so much fun mimicking real life tasks.  You could add a couple small laundry baskets and a set of colorful small towels. This would help them learn colors and practice matching by “sorting the laundry”.

Do you already have a tent or lemonade stand at home?  It would be a cute idea to convert it to a hot cocoa stand for the winter with sparkly string lights and this hot cocoa and coffee set.

We hope this list helps take some pressure off! Do you have other great suggestions? Click on our contact us tab and send us a message!

Happy Holidays,

The Grace Laine Family
