Baby Shower Gift Ideas

Looking for baby shower gift ideas?  As a Mom of 3 I have some suggestions!

Personalization

            If you know the name of the little one I think personalization adds an extra sweet touch.  Blankets are a fantastic option.  I always have an extra blanket in the car for those unexpected diaper changes or for last minute trips to the beach, park or playground.   Another very useful and beloved option is the Damhorst step stool that they will use of years to come. 

            Maybe you don’t know the name yet but do you know the theme?   You could lean into the theme with coastal inspired pictures frames, a collection of books that are princess inspired, or a soft duffle with a floral print that is perfect for travel!

Go with something that they can grow into

            New parents get a ton of baby items – diapers, clothes, baby bottles, burp cloths, swaddles – the list goes on!   The reality is, it is nice to have items that the baby can grow into using.  This sit-to-stand walker is great and they can start to use it around 6 months when sitting and then keep using it to learn to walk!  And my favorite gift so far are these towels that can be used for the bath, pool and beach.  Pro-tip – don’t get the “baby” size and instead choose the “kid” size option so they don’t grow out of it too fast. For another great gift look into COCOBO headbands. They can grow with the little girl for months to come (and avoid the struggle to find the right fit) with the unique adjustable hook and pockets!

Don’t’ forget the new Mom and Dad

            While not necessary, it is truly thoughtful to keep the new Mom and Dad in mind.   If you are close to the Mom-to-be, think about gifting her a pair of slippers or soft pajamas.  Or consider her favorite self-care item – maybe it’s a lotion or a box of her go-to facemasks.   For the new Dad I would consider a personalized grill tool set.  A new Yeti can also be clutch as hydration is key for those long days (and nights).  And let’s not forget, probably the most appreciated gift post-baby is a food delivery service gift card or a meal dropped off that they can heat up when they need it the most.
